A spider that is far more sparkle than spooky. A crystal head and abdomen on a single eye pin, eight beaded legs bent into a crawl, and a jump ring at the top so you can hang it in a window, from a mirror or on a bag. Perfect for Halloween, and honestly lovely all year round.

Level – Beginner.
Format – PDF, instant download.
Length – 9 pages, 18 photographed steps.

This is a digital PDF tutorial — NOT a physical kit and NOT a finished suncatcher. Nothing is shipped to you.

Want the beads and the wire too? My Spider Suncatcher DIY Kit has everything cut, counted and ready — every bead, the wire, the chain, the findings — and this same written tutorial comes free with it, for the color you pick. Choose the Blue variant and you'll get exactly the piece in these photos. So if you're already thinking about the kit, buy that instead and you'll get these instructions included.

You will need… (exact quantities and sizes are listed inside the PDF)
– 0.6 mm (22 gauge) gold wire, about 1.5 m — cut into 4 × 25 cm (10 in) lengths for the legs
– One 20 mm teardrop crystal prism — the body
– One 10 mm clear rondelle bead — the head
– 8 mm black oval and cone beads — the legs
– 6 mm rondelle beads in iridescent, teal and light blue — the legs
– 4 mm clear AB bicone beads
– 7 mm clear tube beads
– 6 mm gold flower spacer beads
– 6 mm rhinestone spacers in pink, lake blue, red and green
– One eye pin (35 mm), 20 cm (8 in) of silver chain, a hanging hook, 5 small and 3 large jump rings

Tools…
– Round-nose pliers
– Wire cutters (an old pair of scissors you don't mind nicking will do in a pinch)

If I update a tutorial, I'll email you the new version free of charge. Because these are instant-download digital files I can't accept returns — but please message me if anything is unclear or your download doesn't work, and I'll sort it out.

Please don't resell, share or claim these tutorials as your own. You're very welcome to sell the suncatchers you make from them — just credit the design to Crystal Flare.
